Working with Children Checks: both of us are lodging Western Australian Working with Children (WWC) Check applications before our first sessions. You're welcome to sight our WWC Cards or official application receipts at your first visit, and you can check any WWC Card at workingwithchildren.wa.gov.au.

These are our live weekly times. Open times can be one-on-one or the start of a small group. Join group times already have children at that year level, with a spot left for yours.

Common signs are homework battles, low confidence (“I'm dumb at maths”), a disappointing report, or a teacher mentioning gaps. The free chat and short check-in will tell you clearly whether tutoring would help, and we'll be honest if it wouldn't.
It shouldn't, and we work hard to make sure it doesn't. Sessions are relaxed and encouraging, homework is 10–20 minutes at most, and we start with things your child can succeed at so confidence comes back before we tackle the hard stuff.
At least 3 days before the first session, including the free chat. It gives us time to plan properly for your child. Once you have a regular weekly time, it stays yours, and the same 3 days' notice applies to any new or changed time.
One-on-one suits children who need focused help with specific gaps. Small groups (two or three children at a similar year level) suit kids who enjoy learning alongside others, and they cost less per child. The session times above show which groups have a spot.
Tell us. With two tutors, we can usually swap, and there's never a lock-in contract. We'd rather you find the right fit than keep going with the wrong one.
Yes. We follow the Australian Curriculum used in WA schools, and for Years 3 and 5 we build NAPLAN-style practice into sessions in a calm, low-key way, so the test feels familiar rather than frightening.
Yes. A parent or nominated adult stays in the library (not in the room) during each session. It's part of our child-safe approach and a library requirement, and the library is a lovely place to wait.
Every child is different, so we won't promise a result. Most families notice more confidence within a few weeks, and the progress report every 4–6 weeks shows exactly what has improved.
Give us 24 hours' notice and we'll reschedule or credit the session. If we ever have to cancel, you're never charged. In school holidays we hold your regular spot, and holiday sessions are available on request.
